The Ocean Memory Project invests in its community by providing seed grants to support researchers and practitioners exploring ocean memory. Some workshops are followed by a competitive funding opportunity to support collaborative research across disciplines and cultures to further explore ocean memory.
These projects are selected to represent a wide range of approaches that bring artists and scientists together to advance and deepen our understanding of ocean memory. Those involved represent a remarkable diversity of perspectives and ways of expressing creativity. Among our goals are to continue to enrich our collective understanding and experience of ocean memory, to strengthen ties within the growing ocean memory network, and to build public awareness.
