The Catalina workshop continued with the model developed for our second OM workshop at the Djerassi Resident Artist Program: structured plenary sessions in the morning and unstructured time in the afternoon to explore, discuss, and work on individual projects and collaborations.

It was an opportunity to continue to develop or bring closure to collaborative projects started at our first two workshops at Friday Harbor Laboratories & Djerassi Resident Artist program, and gave us the space to more concretely define “Ocean Memory”.

One of our tasks was to start to think together of a “mapping” framework to integrate research going forward; to facilitate us in the challenging task of merging our findings and creating common ground between us.
